We are Elliot's Footprint

We are a charity that helps families through child bereavement.
We offer help and guidance whilst campaigning and fundraising for improved bereavement services.
We are working hard to take the loneliness and frustration out of the systems and processes that families face in the aftermath of losing a child.

The charity is a legacy to Elliot who died unexpectedly aged 2 years 9 months old in March 2013.
To mark the 12th anniversary of Elliot's passing Elliot's mum and co-founder of the charity has taken the time to share her thoughts on what life without Elliot has been like for her family and how she found the strength to create the charity so that no other parent has to suffer in the same way.
In partnership with Child Bereavement UK Elliot's Footprint provides funding for a bereavement counsellor who helps families following the sudden and unexpected loss of their child. To ensure that families continue to get the support they need it is vital that the funding for this role continues. In the interview Andrea describes how a team of eager runners are undertaking either the Manchester or Leeds 10k this year in a bid to raise money for the funding of our bereavement counsellor for several months. A target of £4,500 has been set this year to provide 200 hours of specialist one to one bereavement care. Maybe you would be interested in helping to raise this money by joining our campaign team by running or by completing a different challenge of your own or by donating if you are able to?
Please support our campaign if you can, all pennies and pounds will be gratefully accepted and go straight to this worthy cause.
