A Mother's Day Poem

Writer's picture: DowsDows

Updated: Mar 3, 2023

EJ my little man, Like so many other mums, I wish I could step out of ‘now’ And step into back ‘then’. To wake up on Mother’s Day And just have you back again. Maybe today you would have given Me a handmade card? I never got to see you write your own name One days like this the ‘if only’s’ and knowing what I’ve missed, Just makes it so so hard. But I’m still a lucky mum, I have your big bro and big sis I’m about to open their card And I know it will include your kiss I love you more than words can ever say EJ.
